We had not gone to Rusty pelican in a while and my sister gave me a100. Certificate to go so We decided to take my two sons and their wives. I made a reservation for 4:00 on a Saturday. They did not seat us until 4:50. They wanted to stick us in a booth and my son's and I are big fellas not to mention there would not be any space for my grandchild. I finally asked for the manager and he very kindly sat us at a table for 6 with sides for a baby. It was not until 5:45 that we finally received a response from a sweet waitress she would be serving us. the experience until we ordered one hour and forty minutes later was terrible. Our waitress Valentina took care of our table wonderfully without ever knowing what had occurred. She gets most of the credit. I'll have to think about whether we will return.

We had the short rib benedict and French toast. It was excellent! And, the server Pedro was outstanding. He went out of his way to ensure all was ok. We are repeat patrons at Rusty Pelican. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants.

We loved the view, lobster panini and beautiful setting. The entire staff was kind, welcoming and hospitable. The lobster panini did take a long time to arrive to the table. Two tables that arrived after us had their entrees delivered prior to ours. Not the end of the world but still a great experience. We will be back for sure.

The view from the outdoor tables is awesome. We always go just before sunset. The food is good; the menu has decent variety. The side of mashed plantains was excellent--enough for two. The steak was cooked as ordered, and the scallops were large and tasty. Tonight, we had an excellent server, Akosh. Our experience with the hosts and servers over the years has always been positive.

I made a reservation. The table was already available, ok. Now waiting 1 hour for the food I thought was absurd. When it was time to ask for the bill, they gave me the wrong bill and I waited another 30 minutes for the correct one. Lunch lasted 3 hours but most of it was waiting for our orders. It was a table with 4 people and simple orders.

The service at this restaurant was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. However, the food was slightly greasy, and the presentation could use some improvement.
