    Worst dining experience I have ever had. I have never left a negative review about a restaurant in my life. We had a large party and brought several bottles of wine to enjoy with our dinner. Manager Sara Ross approached our table immediately upon sitting down. She was hostile and rude. She told us they have a “national policy” where they can only open two bottle of wine and if we didn’t like it we could leave. We have been loyal Ruth’s Chris customers for over 20 years. We have brought multiple bottle of wine on numerous occasions and never had an issue. We asked when this new policy was created and asked to see it as we could not find it on their menu or website. No policy was ever produced. Second manger Jenny came to our table and told us we could leave if this would be an ongoing issue. I work in customer service and not once did anyone acknowledge our concerns, express any empathy, or try to connect with us. The restaurant was half empty on the Saturday before Christmas and she told us we could leave if we don’t like it. Our server was great he saved the evening. Food was fine but not what you would expect from a high end steakhouse. We eat out routinely and have never experienced worse customer service or more rudeness from a manager. We will never go back. If you value a nice dinner where you are treated with respect I encourage you to dine elsewhere. Ruth’s Chris Walnut Creek is not what it used to be.

    They were out of everything. The waitress rarely came to the table. We would order things, they would be out and she wouldn’t tell us. Instead she would show up with a replacement item we didn’t order (and charged us for it).

    I love coming to Ruth Chris for great steaks, great food; however, this time around wasn't the best for me. I had a bone in rib eye (medium rare) with crusted truffles which didn't do much for the steak. When received it was overcooked. Normally I would say something but I was with my boss and consultants and didn't want to go that route. I didn't eat much of it and took it home so when I warm it up it's going to e well done! For the sides I had garlic mash potatoes, cream spinach, and brussels sprouts. They were decent...nothing to jump up and down about. Maybe it's time to try something new!

    Our food took forever to come to our table by the time we got it we packed it up n left we were ther for more then 2 1/2 hours

    We were seated and greeted right away- we ordered drinks and a few minutes later waiter came back and we had decided on our dinners. A few minutes later our salads showed up which I told the server No- we hadn’t even received our cocktails nor bread for the table which when it did arrive it was nothing special ! We enjoyed our cocktails and the waiter checked on us twice to see if we were ready for our salads. The four of us ordered the prix fixe menu- filet and shrimp with creamed spinach. I would say it was just average- I ordered medium for steak and it was borderline well- not rushing back anytime soon.

    luis provided phenomenal service with his kind demeanor, he really made my mom feel special for her birthday! the food is delicious, this was definitely one of the best steaks i’ve had in my life. however, the sides are incredibly overpriced— delicious, but definitely way too pricey for what you’re getting
