    Don’t order oysters, first one was great second one left a very bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the night. Had to send it back. Ordered chicken wings and very poor quality. Chicken tasted off and it was full of breading. Took 15 min to get served water. Had to wave someone down. Throughout experience had to call servers multiple times to order or get something that was not given to us when we asked. Won’t be going back. We loved going to south Surrey location but it is now closed

    Had my mom’s birthday here and it was a great experience. Friendly waitress and the food was super yummy!

    It was an epic fail, we took our son for a birthday dinner, the food was very salty and ended up paying $50 for six small strips of steak. Adding to that was a guy in the corner singing into a microphone the entire time, our dinner conversation was at a yelling level to hear each other. Not sure if there are new owners, but portions have dropped and the hole experience was lacking. The positive note to the evening was that our server was great. I would not recommend S n L.

    Avery was our server and she was very attentive, friendly & cheerful. We were there to celebrate my birthday and had an email from JRG offering me a free entree. Our food was excellent, as always. We each got the Wagyu Beef au jus sandwich with the house salad. S&L in Langley makes the very best that we have had and it's consistently been SO GOOD!

    Server wasn’t great appies came out 1 minute before the entree. Dessert had substitutions without asking if it was ok. Had to ask for water several times

    Food was good, ambiance was nice (we asked to move to a quieter area), service was great. Dine here often. Out server Crystal was amazing! She’s the reason I’m leaving a review. Great service, respectful, kind. Loved her :)

    I’ve long wanted to make this place my “go to” spot every Friday after a long week of work as this restaurant is only minutes away. However they’ve always been a hit or miss with the food, so we only go there occasionally. However, I booked a reservation there for a Friday night a week back as my wife’s bday fell on that day and she wanted oysters so we decided on here. That evening, everything was great. Food was practically spot on (my steak was a bit saltier than I prefer, but the bearnaise sauce helped with that), atmosphere with the live music was a nice touch and service was excellent. We will have to come again and see if there is that consistency. It was a very enjoyable experience that evening. Thank you!
