we are 21+ after 10pm on friday and saturday.

sabine is a café, bar, and bakery serving a lively daytime and nighttime experience for all on ballard ave. here you'll find vibrant espresso drinks, colorful cocktails, and fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily. our inviting menus by chef dunkelberger draw upon mediterranean influences with middle eastern spices and herbs, while our dedication to using local, in-season, and organic ingredients wherever we can highlights the bounty of the northwest. our mezze and salatim dishes are meant to be shared; here we value the community that dining together brings.

    Ambiance was very lively but romantic, the service was fantastic and our server was great. Drinks were delicious and the food was amazing, we tried the whipped feta, the chicken and the lamb kabob, and we loved it all. The dessert we tried was the pistachio Dubai tart, it was very rich and complex, and scrumptious. Would come here again, me and my girlfriend went here for Valentine’s Day, and it was a great spot for that, very classy

    Dinner was amazing! Every menu item is perfectly curated and flavored, although I do wish there were more options for mains. Regardless, everything tastes great and we can’t wait to be back for brunch!

    Food and service were great but one of the menu items I really wanted wasn’t available which was slightly disappointing. Always love the beet carpaccio and the steak and caviar NYE special was delicious. Noise level was a little loud and our server had a gentle speaking voice so it was a little hard to hear her. But I love this place, one of my faves in Ballard. Will always come back.

    Highly recommended! Food, service, cocktail list, and atmosphere were perfect. I am going today again. Best steak, melt in your mouth. And the King mushroom dish? One does not miss the meat.

    Best Mediterranean meal I've had in a long time! Also, the decor of this location is outstanding, which should be considered part of the experience. Lastly, their cocktails are incredibly creative and inspiring.
