Food is great and service exceptional. The Burger Wellington was perfectly cooked and delicious. Angel, our waiter, was attentive and courteous. Great experience. Highly recommended.

We loved the gentle pacing, never feeling rushed. We were amazed at how quiet it was even though it was completely full. Our waiter, Jose, was wonderful. The escargot was incredible!

Overall a pleasant 1st experience at Sablee. Don't let the outside appearance (building and street) deter you from walking inside. Street parking is hard to find but there is a parking garage across the restaurant for about $10 (the restaurant doesn't validate). Soothing and rather romantic ambiance (dark brown walls, dim lights), perfect for dinner. Our Colombian waiter was professional, friendly and attentive. The cassoulet and onion soups were very good but both on the salty side. Portions seemed small but both were copious. I had the salmon plate with vegggies which was delicious. My partner got the beef with pommes frites, he liked it but could not finish it. We had no space left for dessert. Limited wine list. We didn't have any. One little thing bothered me; bottled water was imposed on us and was already served in the 2 glasses that were brought to our table (the bottle was not opened in front of us but brought to our table later on already open). The same big glass bottle stayed on our table the whole time, we only consumed half of it but were charged for 2 on the check (total $6). My partner did not feel comfortable mentioning it.

Letting us know will only result in us having the opportunity to make things right with you. We charge a $3 water service fee per guest. We have a specialized system to provide unlimited filtered sparkling or still water. We are sorry about the confusion. Hope to see you again soon!

The service was wonderful, the food delicious! Small menu but great options. The escargot was the best we’ve had. The filet and fries yummy and the Wellington burger something you won’t get anywhere else. Mmmm. Great wine list too.

Cumplí años y fui a la barra a celebrarlo sola. Ni siquiera me felicitaron, ninguno de los empleados. El bartender me negó (en forma de relajo, pero me lo negó) un espresso martini al final porque no quise postre. La comida estaba buena y los precios no estaban tan mal. Me hubiese gustado que me hubiesen hecho sentir más bienvenida.
