Sage Sorrento is a coastal destination located on the southern coastline of the peninsula, offering wild ocean beaches for activities like bodyboarding, surfing, and coastal walking. It is part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park and features picnic and BBQ facilities. The area also has a surf lifesaving club that patrols the back beach from late December to March.

                                                                          Very nice, great pizza, starters and pasta. Couldn’t fault the place at all. Local wines feature which mean that there is a heavy focus on Pinot Noir, not a riesling or Cabernet on offer…This could be broadened whilst still favouring the locals wines.

                                                                          A bit chaotic when we arrived with booked patrons and take away customers all milling in the restaurant entrance but soon cleared & good service ensued. Menu was reasonable, mainly pizzas with a dozen or so mains. Plenty of starters with a wide variety offered. We shared a pizza and a pasta and both were excellent. Drinks list was limited but we found something we liked...a beer and a pinot gris. Quick & efficient service and tasty food made for an enjoyable evening.

                                                                          Service was polite, however, our table wasn't ready at our booking time and the waitstaff seemed confused. One young gent could take drink orders but no food orders; another young lady asked if we were ready to order to which we replied yes only for her to disappear and not return. Eventually another lady came to take our order. Perhaps it was a new staff team on their first shift? Pizza's were good without being amazing. The peperoni was the best option.

                                                                          The fact our mains came with the entrees was a little disappointing. Also we had to wait for water and only certain staff can take your order so we waited for them as well !
