Award-winning Chef Christopher Covelli and his team curate seasonal menus, highlighting flavorful culinary creations from around the world. As a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence recipient, Sage also offers an extensive wine list. Housed in the stunning historic Sarasota Times building, Sage's decor and attention to detail is mirrored in the food and service they provide.                 PHENOMENAL! The food & service were outstanding. This was my second visit to Sage. Cassie, our server, was stellar. Enjoyed an after dinner drink at the beautiful downstairs bar. The bartenders were exceptional. Can’t wait to go back.

                We have been to Sage several times and is one of our favorite restaurants. In the past our only qualifier has been the menu. They change seasonally so we ensure we like the current options before we go. The current menu is very good. The food was outstanding along with the service. Unfortunately this is the first time we were seated in the side room. It started off noisy. Then midway through dinner a group of 14 was seated and the noise level was almost unbearable. The manager did come over and apologized which I give him credit. Recommendation, go to Sage but insist on sitting in the main dining area, avoid the side room.

We sincerely apologize for the noise level during your recent visit to our Terrace Room. This space was recently renovated and enclosed to create a comfortable, year-round dining option, but we recognize that noise can sometimes be a challenge. Please know we are actively addressing this by implementing noise absorption solutions, as we’ve successfully done in other areas of the restaurant. We’re grateful for your input and are committed to ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. We truly hope you’ll join us again soon and feel confident in choosing Sage for your next dining occasion.

                Wonderful ambience, Marley has been an excellent host - very attentive and very nice. The cocktail offering is outstanding and each one is so well prepared. The food menu has for everyone could options, meat, fish and vegan - and each and every course what delightful. So much fun in Sage!

                Truly a wonderful multi-sensory experience from a restaurant that once was home to The Sarasota Times. The minute we walked into Sage we were captivated by the warmth and ambience; a feeling of dejavu or an other worldly sense ensued…one which is also reflected in choice pieces of artwork; the bar in and of itself…is art! Our smoked manhattans (Transylvania vibe)were presented at our table in an illustrious fashion. What an amazing experience! The aromas from the kitchen made us even hungrier and our selected dishes were incredible (best pork chop ever)! We found ourselves swaying to the music…soft, romantic! Across the board, we give Sage a five star rating from the valet, staff, waiters and management. To celebrate our Anniversary we wanted a completely unique experience and Sage delivered and then some! We thank you!

                Excellent food and service. Ambience is unparalleled. However, the cost is definitely on the high end and makes Sage an unfrequently visited restaurant.
