Sage is Sarasota’s premier dining destination, providing inspirational cuisine and original craft cocktails in an unforgettable setting. Award-winning Chef Christopher Covelli and his team curate seasonal menus, highlighting flavorful culinary creations from around the world. As a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence recipient, Sage also offers an extensive wine list. Housed in the stunning historic Sarasota Times building, Sage's decor and attention to detail is mirrored in the food and service they provide. Sage's rooftop bar provides a serene setting for viewing some of Sarasota's spectacular sunsets.

                                    we're not fancy diners at all but it was worth it for a date night. the rooftop was nice but most of it was blocked for a private party. food was excellent

                                    Everything was excellent from the food to the impeccable service to the ambience. It’s pricey, for sure, but you get what you pay for. We had a party of seven and everyone loved it. Highlights were the Thai bouillabaisse, the rack of lamb and the seasonal salted-caramel pumpkin crème brûlée.

                                    Overall food choices and quality was good. O nly exception was one meal for our first time guests- the lamp was to be medium rare and it came out medium to well. The redo was acceptable but medium nor rare. Service is excellent and we’ll return!

                                    Probably the best restaurant in Sarasota in every respect. You come for the experience not only the food. The ambiance is unique, prestigious and very customer focussed. The menu is short (= THE essence of quality!) and provides dishes you won't get elsewhere. The staff is professional, and observing every step of your table. Great. We were here for the second time and from now onwards it is at the top of our list if we want to go for uncompromised quality.

                                    Wow! From the first steps in the door to our last, we were tickled on every sense! We came here to celebrate our daughter’s sweet 16 and she had never felt so elegant. The desserts were exquisite and we loved ending the night in the rooftop with mocktails- truly magical!
