We had such a pleasant evening at Saigon Hustle for Valentine’s Day.
We were greeted by friendly staff members and directed to our seats; which we felt the chairs were a bit stiff and had to adjust ourselves a few times during the course.
We also thought that the table was a bit unstable and not solid, so we had to make sure not to put too much pressure on the table however the surface area where the black cloth, rose petals and candle in the middle was such a nice touch!
Besides that, which wasn’t a big deal we went along with the course selection, which we felt it wasn’t suffice for our own tummy but the food was absolutely stunning and delicious. For others maybe it should be enough, we were just really hungry.
The gravy for the sirloin was a tad saltier than what I usually taste in other restaurants that serve steak & gravy but the steak was at a good temperature however slightly chewy but not to the point where we had to constantly chew and it had a decent juiciness which was pleasant!
The entree, dessert and cocktails were fantastic! For the entree I believe we ordered the salt and pepper squid, dozen of oysters with yuzu (definitely recommend) and scallops with a very unique sauce that my partner and myself loved!
For the dessert we ordered the Vietnamese coffee tiramisu and strawberry cannoli which was delicious but felt a tad disappointed with the quantity but quality was on point.
Lastly for the cocktails we were recommended a strawberry alcoholic beverage which we definitely recommend and the other one was a peachy flavoured cocktail which was fruity and sweet with a lil bitterness.
Overall, we enjoyed spending our Valentine’s Day dinner at Saigon Hustle and had our photos taken, which was lovely. We will come back again to try other menus during dinner time.
