At Saké Restaurant and Bar, contemporary Japanese cuisine is served up in six of Australia’s most iconic destinations including Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Saké Manly features an interactive sushi counter, a sophisticated bar and an outdoor terrace with sweeping ocean views out to Manly Cove, making it the idyllic location to enjoy Japanese and cocktails. The menu overseen by Head Chef Shoji Toru offers a superb section of nigiri, sashimi and sushi rolls, all made to order from the freshest of local seafood. Saké Manly’s drinks list showcases the finest of Japanese spirits, whiskies and over 30 bins of sake as well as umeshu, shochu and flavoured sake. Four seasonally changing spritz feature on the menu, all designed to match the light, floral notes of Japanese cuisine.

Absolutely delicious meal,service and location. Only complaints - disgustingly filthy entrance way via the lift. Needs urgent and ongoing attention. Also Windows badly needed a clean to appreciate the stunning view.

I have been to Sake in the Rocks several times and it is always great. Manly has a very different atmosphere but the food is just as good. We had the banquet which was a lot of food. I can recommend the Lychie Martini. Very busy and noisy on a Friday night but we had a great time and the service was very good. On the expensive side at $175 a head for 3 people. I would recommend for a special occasion.

This is a lovely spot, beautiful space, great view. For such a large modern space it was surprisingly cosy. The staff were attentive (except for occasionally forgetting to top up the wine from the bottle they take elsewhere). A few vegan options which was good (could do with a few more) Lovely fresh ingredients well presented. We will return.
