We want you to leave with memories of innovative flavours and dynamic dishes, all served by our passionate team in a sleek designer space that has cemented Sake’s place as the premier Sydney Japanese restaurant. Revel in the menu created by our Sushi Masters, drawing on traditional Japanese training and passion for unique flavours to prepare some of the most celebrated culinary creations in the Sydney Japanese restaurant. Awarded a Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Chef’s Hat every year since opening, Saké Restaurant & Bar aims to continually surprise and delight you with its dynamic, evolving menu. A variety of enticing dining options are available to you, whether entertaining, partying or simply looking to impress. With four private dining rooms, a communal banquet dining area, traditional Japanese sunken tables and a sushi bar. Last orders are taken at 10:30pm from Monday to Thursday, and 11:30pm Friday and Saturday evenings.

Food was amazing! Best miso, lovely nigiri, especially tuna and salmon belly. This is really good sushi and I highly recommend.

Made a booking for 3 people and got a seat at the bar. Food was okay, service was okay. But there was a giant dead fly on the table.

Blah, bland Japanese served in a pretentious manner. Nothing special at all but you’ll pay a lot. Waiters and servers and busboys/girls all different people so everything muddled. Gaku Robata infinitely better.

Not given the option of tap water, charged $22 for two bottles of water. Seated without wine list and had to ask for it twice. Mains came at seperate times and one dish was forgotten altogether. Asked if we received a dish that we never ordered. Disappointed by the service we received which is unfortunate when you are spending a lot of money. Food quality was great.

The food here was reasonably good, but we received very poor service from our waitress, who all but ignored us during our meal. The noise level from the music was very loud and made it impossible to talk. It had more of a night club feel than a restaurant, and though we have been to plenty of trendy restaurants, this one was over the top. It really wasn't a pleasant dining atmosphere or experience.

the main dishes were very tasty but desert were disappointing. Uzu ice-cream tasted like artificial . only green tea ice-cream was good.
