    I’ve been a long time fan of this restaurant group. Unfortunately this time around wasn’t so pleasant. My wife and I dined here Saturday night we started with grilled oysters and fried tomatoes both were wonderful. I’d lighten up a little bit on the Parmesan though. For dinner I ordered the steak & clam bake with an added lobster tail and she ordered the lobster and shrimp cappelinni. Her dish came out presented nicely and was delicious, the only bad mark was it was warm not hot. The steak and clam bake was just an all around let down. I ordered my steak medium rare, it came out well and was completely charred on the one side. The lobster tail was dry and tiny in comparison to rosewood or Delmonico’s. The clams were separated from the broth? So then they were cold… and so was the broth. I wouldn’t normally complain about sides but this Corn was so dried out my wife thought it was just decretive. So I politely asked for another one… 15 minutes later I received my other piece of corn and it was cold. After speaking with the manager he choose to offer us two desserts which was generous and after receiving the bill he took off my meal. Service: I believe our server was Dave older gentleman. He’s a decent server, was a bit slow getting the things we asked for or would need reminded. Daves biggest mistake is a big no, no in the serving industry. Never at any point should you stand over my wife and put your arm continuously on her seat. It’s inappropriate. If we come back I think we will be doing to go and just the pasta.

    Food was decent (clam bake and grouper). Clams were littlenecks (my bad for not asking before ordering, as they are not much bigger than a pea after steaming). Lobster bisque was great.

    Server, Halle very attentive and knowledgeable. Main Event presentation is very nice. Clams, chicken, potatoes all very good. Clam broth and corn were not good.

    This is one of our 5 go to restaurants. Always good. The fish is away prepared perfectly. Service is a 10 as well.

    I usually leave 5 stars but based on last nights dining experience I’m not able to do that. I believe the kitchen was over run with orders. They were serving many clam bakes which was their special. Make a long story short. Wanted my steak med well and I received a steak that was charred on the outside and rare on the inside. My lobster tail was also over done. Wife ordered twin lobster tails and even though she said they were ok I could tell they weren’t as good as usual. They had some type of sauce on the tails which they never had before. Mine did not have the sauce which I find very unusual. It was my wife’s birthday so we received a free desert which was wonderful. The manager never stopped by our table or we would voiced our disapproval.
