Located in the heart of Downtown Edmonds, Salt & Iron brings the comfort of American Northwest cuisine. The brainchild of partners Andrew Leckie and Shubert Ho, their mission is to provide a comfortable dining experience that includes local oysters, steaks and great American cuisine.
Salt & Iron's dining room designed by visionary firm Inspired Interiors of Edmonds, brings a brighter and more welcoming dining atmosphere to the Downtown core. It is located just a short walk from the Kingston Ferry and the iconic Edmonds Fountain, where the Edmonds Farmers' Market and the Edmonds Art Walk take place. A full bar provides craft cocktails, local wines and draft beers to accompany the dining experience.

Pros: My salmon dinner was delicious, the sweet potatoe mash and Brussels sprouts amazing. Salmon cooked perfectly. Cons: my husband had the halibut. Very, very dry and overcooked. Not good side dishes with jt, he barely ate any of it. Halibut is expensive and should not be overcooked. Also, We were put at a table back by the way to the bathrooms, felt like a hallway. Probably shouldn’t have a table there.

Service is amazing, they were willing to accommodate moving us to a larger table even after we had sat. Willing to work with my dairy allergy and restrictions. Food was all really good. Only thing I had to say and asked the server to pass onto the kitchen was too much oil on my veggies. The basic salad with the vinaigrette is so good.

The food & our service just incredible. As a starter, we had the octopus tapas plate~ it transported me back to Spain, where I’d had a similar dish.

We were back for another birthday celebration - and as all our other experiences it was great. Steak frites are sooo good! And a large serving of brussel sprouts with shishito peppers as a “small plate” were tasty. Service was friendly but not overbearing. All the way around a hit!

Nice interior with both quiet and lively areas, lots of group parties but still not too noisy for us to enjoy ourselves. Busy on a Friday night even at 4:30 pm! Food was well prepared and menu had a good assortment meat and seafood options. Great Happy Hour price on delicious Pacific oysters but it ends at 5 pm.
