The food was delicious. I had a cheeseburger and my friend had the lobster bisque. We stayed inside since it was chilly outside. It was also chilly in the restaurant as well. Service was great!

I met my sister for a special dinner at SALT in Marina del Rey. All of the staff were very pleasant, professional and accommodating. Both of our meals were excellent: My sister had the SEARED DIVER SCALLOPS and asked for them without hot spice, and they were perfect for her. I had the BRAISED BONELESS SHORTRIB and it was very good, from the very tender meat, to the veggies and sauce. The only thing that mildly surprised me was that the plate came with "root vegetables", but only had potatoes; I imagined a small variety of tubers. Again, it was very good. We had dessert with tea and coffee (CHURRO SUNDAE and BREAD PUDDING SOUFFLE); they were both good. The only letdown was the coffee. There was only one brand available, and it was not very good. For a restaurant that serves that high level of cuisine, with so many very good options, one would expect a good quality coffee to finish. I recommend SALT to anyone who would like to have a very nice dining experience: excellent cuisine in a nice setting, especially outdoors, weather permitting, and attended by professional, friendly staff. In the future, I plan to take my family to dine at SALT.

Wonderful experience I went to for the duck, but unfortunately they no longer serve it. They switch the menu too often for my interests.

We tried the new High Tea offering today. It was amazing!! The tea selections were great and the food delicious. The service was excellent and attentive and of course the setting was beautiful I highly recommend it

Our server didn’t tell us the special, he didn’t check on us. He was watching the World Series. This was an expensive meal and it wasn’t worth it. Had he been attentive in the empty restaurant, I may have ordered dessert or had another drink. The food was fine but took forever to come out. Totally disappointed
