Salt Rock Grill is a legendary beach landmark that has a burning passion for delectable food, enticing drink & pleasurable surroundings. Known for our hand cut U.S.D.A prime & choice grade beef, fresh dayboat caught seafood, raw bar & amazing wine cellar. Salt Rock Grill is the perfect choice for an evening of fine dining, superior service & genuine hospitality. Located in Indian Shores overlooking the intra-coastal waterway, Salt Rock Grill is your destination.
All of our Steaks are hand cut U.S.D.A. Prime or Choice Grade Beef from top midwestern feeders. We age them four to six weeks in our in-house temperature controlled aging room to develop maximum flavor and tenderness. Then we grill them over our natural oak and citrus wood pit fire. You won't find a better steak. Our chefs have developed partnerships with local fisherman and companies that provided us with fresh dayboat caught seafood selections from our gulf waters and beyond.     We realize it was Christmas Eve but the food was mediocre. Some entrees were sold out along with certain side dishes. My entree was cold and my partners was over cooked. Service was ok, but dirty dishes sat on the table. A manager that was floating around never approached us he was concentrating on a nearby table having issues. Wasn't worth the $175 we dropped

    Our server Jason was outstanding. We enjoyed our Xmas eve dinner with his exceptional service. Food, as usual, was AMAZING! We come here a few times a year as we are from Ohio. Thank you for quality food and service.

    As usual everything SaltRock was perfect. Only this time it was extra special as I left my credit card on the table. By the time we drove a few blocks I realized my error and we turned around. My missing card was safe and sound in your manager’s office. Thank whoever retrieved it and stored it away. Happy Holidays to all.

    Food is good as usual. Server was mostly nonexistent. Had to wait forever for drink refills.

    The whole experience dining at Salt Rock was nothing short of amazing!!! The food was DELICIOUS our server Nicole was AMAZING!! It definitely THE place to go for a special occasion!!

    We love the Salt Rock. This visit was not what we typically experience. We arrived just a few moments before the restaurant opened. We had reservations and were told it would be just a couple of minutes. There was another group waiting as well. Shortly after that another couple arrived and they were seated immediately before us and the other group that had already been waiting. I thought this not the right thing to do. We had been waiting. We waited several minutes before a server came to our table. The salad wasn’t as good as we are use to. Glasses were dirty so we didn’t drink the water. We will return to this restaurant as it has always been wonderful, but this visit was disappointing.

    This place never disappoints! We got the exact seats requested, despite the busy holiday season. The food was outstanding. We had super tender calamari appetizer, sword fish steak and Main lobster with cherry cheesecake and crème anglaise. Ever dish was presented beautifully, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Our server Scott was the best and the hostess went out of her way to get an emergency message to us. The noise level was not uncomfortable and reflected the happy Christmas atmosphere - decorations were beautiful!

    Everything was just wonderful. Nice atmosphere and decorated nice for Christmas. Our Waiter Kevin was outstanding. Very upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu. Also attentive to our needs. Couldn't ask for a better night out.
