All their food offerings are significantly overpriced. E.g. we got two shrimp for their happy hour shrimp cocktail for $9. One crab cake costs $41. And It was mushy in the center. Nothing special. They served us a Caesar salad which was primarily a bowl of romaine lettuce with an anchovy dressing and Parmesan cheese but with no anchovies for $26. We had to ask for anchovies be brought to the table because the waitress said they were part of the salad, but the chef said they had changed the menu and no anchovies were included. Then they brought us anchovies as if it was an extenuating circumstance. Their 1/2 lb steakhouse Wagyu burger was okay but I’d prefer a heartier burger at CCG. Their French fries are way too big. Obviously they are trying to obtain a ROE ASAP because they are catering to a very affluent Cherry Creek community, but I doubt they can survive long term with much more reasonably priced alternatives like Blue Island Oyster. Our waitress Raquel did do her best to try and make our dinner experience good, but she is obviously only a pawn in this new restaurant’s machinations. In short, if you want to check it out feel free, but the corporate structure behind this picked a losing horse. Changes need to be made.
