Centrally located between the West Village and Knox - Henderson areas, Salum is a casual yet elegant and comfortable space composed by Julio Quiñones, one of Dallas’ most progressive young designers. The spacious dining room displays a welcoming palette of brown, green and beige, with a sleek open kitchen as the focal point. Salum combines the intimacy of a neighborhood establishment with the quality of a fine dining restaurant with an atmosphere that is approachable and distinctive yet unpretentious ~ a marriage of vision, passion and skill with the goal of providing its visitors with an extraordinary dining experience. Owner and Chef Abraham Salum offers an array of contemporary American cuisine that combines the highest quality seasonal ingredients with a nuanced use of contrasting and complementary flavors to create a vibrant and visually inviting menu.                                         We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s birthday. Rack of lamb prepared perfectly. The lobster with polenta was a treat. We shared the apple crumble with ice cream for dessert. Definitely will be back. Salum is a great choice for dinner.

                                        Some of the best hi end dining in Dallas. Their mussels topped with finely cut frites are to die for as an app or entree. Lamb chops, salmon, fish stew---all perfectly cooked. I was once again too full for dessert although Abraham Salum had personally made German chocolate cake that day.

                                        Salum is always an incredible meal. Great staff and march’s menu is awesome. Salmon Veracruz is incredible cooked to perfection moist on the inside just the way I like.

                                        Always a favorite spot for just a week night bite, or like tonight for our 12th anniversary. Salum’s team always makes us feel special and the food is seasonal and delicious. From drinks, to dinner and dessert, every bite was wonderful.

                                        Every single time I come to this restaurant I have an outstanding meal with outstanding service and an ever-changing outstanding menu. Keep up the excellent service Salum team ! You guys know what you are doing and you do it very well. Oh, and you don't nickel and time your customers with paying for valet, paying a service charge for using a credit card, etc, etc like your neighbors at Maison Chinoise and Le Passage both of which I refuse to go to anymore for average service and add-on fees'.

                                        Always a delicious meal. It’s not loud, making conversation more pleasant. Attentive waitstaff. A go to for lunch or dinner.
