Amazing restaurant! The food, ambiance, waitstaff, service was all incredible. Recommend making a reservation- we did and got seated right away. Everything about Sama was wonderful. This was my first time in Luquillo and I will absolutely be back next time!

Service was exceptional, the mahi mahi ceviche and the pork belly appetizer, suggested by our server, were also exceptional. For our entrees we ordered the halibut and the veal ragout, both were lack luster. The veal ragout was more of a lasagna pasta and lacked the depth of a ragout. The halibut was bland and the potatoes were semi-raw. The evening was saved by the bread pudding dessert. It was one of my favorite bread puddings I have had. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, and would dine with Sama again! Again, to reiterate, the service was outstanding!

This is a wonderful restaurant with beautiful views and people. The food was so good the first night we came back for a second night. We loved every appetizer, but adored the bread pudding dessert!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Sama. Luquillo has a nice relaxed neighborhood vibe right on the beach with great views. Delicious creative cocktails and a relatively condensed wine list but offers reasonably priced bottles. We started with the Beets and Cheese salad and Elote ribs which was super fresh and creatively prepared. We all ordered the Wahoo special which was absolutely delicious. The Wahoo was incredibly fresh tasting, prepared to perfection served in a savory sauce with coconut rice. We really enjoyed our time at Sama. The service was excellent. Our meal was paced perfectly right in step with the relaxed vibe. The back of the restaurant has nice views into the kitchen where you can see everyone in action. Chef Erika Suarez is a rock star! You can see the kitchen staff all having fun enjoying what they do preparing creative cuisine. It makes for a really delicious fun enjoyable meal. Put this restaurant on your list. It's worth the trip to Luquillo.
