Sangria Tapas/Bar Restaurant is family owned and operated specializing in authentic cuisine from Spain. Tapas, paellas, mariscadas, charcuterie, steaks, fish, and seafood are part of the daily menu, in addition to weekly specials.

Sangria offers a full service bar that highlights signature cocktails, sangrias, wines and beers from different regions of Spain.

The name Sangria is symbolic of the fun and richness of Spain's culture and culinary experience. Sangria pulls together centuries of tradition by adding a modern twist to its cuisine and spirits. Centrally located in a rustic style bistro at Ramapo Centre, 1033 MacArthur Blvd. in Mahwah, close to New Jersey Route 17.

The resturaunt was awesome, however when we arrived they did not have our reservation because they do not deal with opentable for reservations, they did take us however but next time will be calling the resturant and making reservations directly with them

Great selection of food from appetizers to desert. All of our dinners were delicious! Server was attentive. Peach sangria was soooo good. The noise level is a bit much but should not deter anyone from going.

Very noisy environment. The food was somewhat on the bland side, definitely underseasoned. Also, the tomatoes, which were an important ingredient in several dishes we ordered, were rather tasteless. The scallops were nicely cooked, however, but tho octopus was ovecooked.

Wonderful food and service. The peach sangria was delicious! Only negative was the sound. It was loud and difficult to hear ...and I’m young.

Service...beverages...tapas were all good...ordered paella and felt that the rice was over cooked and almost burnt...this was about 4th or 5th visit...overall good experience but the paella was a bit disappointing

Not a good night for Sangria! We waited 20 minutes for our reserved table to be available and watched as two groups of 8 and a group of 4 were seated (without reservations in front of us). Then we waited 15 minutes for menus...20 minutes to order a drink...and finally when our meal arrived (an hour and 15 minutes later) only half of the order was processed. Two people had to share one dinner. We have eaten here before....this was a Saturday and the staff was overwhelmed.
