We pride ourselves on our fresh, authentic Italian food and are passionate about bringing this taste to London. Our ingredients are carefully sourced from the best suppliers and many of our dishes are made with speciality Denominazione di Origine Protetta (DOP) foods direct from Italy.

As well as sourcing the best Italian ingredients, we’ve also developed our own special pizza base recipe. Our UNICA pizza dough is made with a multigrain blend of ﬂours that is vitamin-rich and packed with ﬁbre while delivering the same delicious taste. Low in sugar and high in antioxidants, this is pizza that is good for you!

Our restaurants are a little corner of Italia in south east London. Cosy but elegant, with the warmth of family-friendly service delivered with the best wood-ﬁred pizza you’ll ﬁnd outside of Naples. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Come in and enjoy unlimited ‘cicchetti’, (small snacks), with a glass of Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, or a classic Italian cocktail, each and every day. As they say; when in Beckenham…do as the Romans do! Available from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and from midday until 6 p.m. from Friday-Sunday. £15 per person Walk-ins welcome.

We had a divinely delicious vegetarian lunch at the Sapore Vero, and an equally heavenly dessert. We can't praise it highly enough. It is genuinely Italian cuisine and all freshly home made, and you could taste the difference.

We had a fantastic Friday family lunch (with toddler) service was fast. Accommodated us and baby requirements and we have to say the pizza was amazing. Deffo a family fave

Excellent ingredients as ever, and lovely informal atmosphere. We had 2x bruschetta and 1x aubergine with sausage and sauce as starters. All excellently prepared and served. Five stars. Only issue this time was the pizzas (one each, various kinds): as ever toppings were generous, but bases were soggier than usual. Three stars. Different pizza chef maybe? We go here every couple of months, and will be back to check if this was a blip as we suspect.

We are always having an amazing experience at Sapore Vero. The food is delicious and staff super friendly, polite and welcoming. I recommend the entire menu because everything tastes amazing!
