I came on Mother's Day as a party of 3 and this was all of our first time dining at this restaurant. We ordered off of a pre-fixed menu. The firs thing I noticed was how loud the music was, I was practically shouting my reservation at the hostess. The restaurant had a DJ playing soca tunes... he was very good and charismatic, but this can be a lot when you want to have a conversation at the table. Now, on to the service and food. I preferred the appetizers than my entree. We ordered the mango/pineapple chow, which was tasty and balanced with spice. The shrimp with the drizzle and pineapple topping was good.. not great. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the corn soup. She gave that a 10/10. Our entrees was where things went a bit left. I had the oxtail lomein, which was "OK", but the fatty, chewy pieces of oxtail was not what I was hoping. Also, the spice factor was lacking.. the entire dish needed something to amp things up. My sister had the oxtail which came with rice and peas.. and said the same thing.. too fatty, lacking in flavor, and chewy. The rice and peas was overcooked and mushy, both mom and sister said this... side bar- I can confirm this as I tried it myself. The star was the callaoo!!! Delicious! The service was slow, took quite some time for the waitress to come to our table, and we did not get water's. All in all, I give Savanah Spiced a solid 3/5.

We do apologize if you feel that the service was slow....Mother day tends to be extremely busy.
We do appreciate you giving us a try
