Saveur offers fine dining food in a casual urban setting. Award-winning chef, Robert Cassels, delivers French-inspired contemporary cuisine through playful and elegant tasting menus, using local ingredients wherever possible. Chef Cassels works closely with the farmers, foragers, and fisheries of Vancouver Island to create an unforgettable dining experience. A la carte options are available upon request, or pony up to the bar for some tapas and enjoy our classic-meets-contemporary cocktail menu, local beers, and hand-pick wine selection.

    We took friends from Vancouver on Saturday night and they were tremendously impressed. We had been talking up the restaurant and they were not disappointed. We did the chef’s tasting menu with pairings which knocked it out of the park. Love this restaurant and if you don’t go you are missing the best restaurant in Victoria.

    People need to get out and try this restaurant, it is the leader out of the top three Restaurants for Victoria as far as I’m concerned when it comes to customer service, Chef creations, and quality of the dishes. One of my favourite places to eat in Victoria, the only tiniest thing I can say is for the price it hurts my heart sometimes when I leave still hungry... Which only seems to happen if I don’t get the tasting menu. I wish there was someway that if my partner or friend or guest doesn’t want the tasting menu that I can still have it and they can order whatever they want and watch me eat... honestly. It’s worth being rude for! Ha ha ha!

    We had the Chef's tasting menu (dinner) and a cocktail ("658") each. The food and drinks were very flavourful and beautiful. Courses had wonderful combinations of flavours. Each course was freshly made. Service was friendly and attentive. We dressed up for the occasion (dress for me and a suit for my partner) however there were diners in less formal attire. It was a relaxed enough atmosphere for either. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to a "foodie" (and anyone who values fine food and service).

    I love dining here, the menu is always limited but exciting with something for everyone. I brought 3 guests and everyone had an awesome dinner. The crispy mushrooms were amazing

    Really delicious food and interesting menu selections. Friendly service and no problem accommodating gluten free needs. Relaxing ambiance where we could easily converse.highly recommend Saveur.

    Table was ready, service was good and food was good albeit a tad pricey but with a groupon no problem. Will return.

    We met friends for brunch and everyone’s meal was amazing. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Overall a completely enjoyable experience. We’ll be back for sure!
