Established in 2000, Sawadee Thai Cuisine has gone from strength to strength, helped along by a wise move to the bustling dining precinct centred on Tan Quee Lan Street in Bugis, just minutes from the station. Step inside Sawadee and you’re immediately transported from the hustle and bustle of central Singapore to the Land of Smiles (a nickname by which the Southeast Asian country is commonly known), with Thai jazz music providing an auditory backdrop, wooden furnishings in a stripped-back, modern Asian style to comfort your eyes and body, and a menu of fantastic food matched perfectly by a considered wine list. Whether you plan to visit Sawadee for lunch, a set or buffet menu, or to dine a la carte, reservations are advised.
