Welcome to Sawatdee - Maple Grove! We are OPEN for dine in, take out and delivery.

Serving award-winning Thai cuisine since 1983, Sawatdee is home to Thai food, sushi, a great happy hour and impeccable service.

When we first opened our doors at 1983, the Sawatdee mission was simple: to take our community on an adventure full of Thai flavors and good times. Many years later, that adventure is still as exciting as ever. Not only we expanded with more restaurants to share our flavors with more folks, we've added to to the flavors we offer, as well!

Our Maple Grove location offers a contemporary dining environment tailored to the tastes of the Northwestern Suburbs. Now offering Minnesota craft brews on tap.

Very much geared toward DoorDash. Acrylic panels between booths were filthy, I stared at finger and head prints on it behind our friends heads. Service was slow and not attentive. My meal was pictured on the menu (Red Curry Chicken). There were 2 slices of green pepper and 1 disc of jalapeño and a ton of bamboo shoots. Then because I asked for spicy level 2, they dumped red pepper flakes on top. Very unappealing. Very disappointed, will not go back.

We were there celebrating our daughter’s birthday and could not have asked for a better experience.!! Our server was amazing. He was very attentive checking on us regularly. We really enjoyed having DeDe, the robot, bring our food out. She even brought a candle lit serving of cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday😊🎂 It doesn’t get much better than that!!

We hadn’t been to Sawatdee for a few years. The appetizers were quite a disappointment. The main meals redeemed just OK. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back.

Good value, attentive service. Perfect for someone in my party who wasn't a huge fan of "spicy" food but adventurous enough for someone else who is a bit of Asian food aficionado.

Disappointed in food all around, not having been at restaurant for a couple of years, due to travel, hadn’t realized how the food and services changed. Had a Fisherman’s dish that didn’t have a quality preparation or properly prepared sauce. The wontons were too large and overall fried. The sweet and sour sauce just wasn’t adequately thick and creamy nor sweet! Will pass on future visits. Also didn’t like robotic food delivery means!!!
