We strongly encourage you to make your Open Table reservations and we are happy to be able to take care of all of our valuable guests, again. We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

Private dining rooms, banquet rooms, 40-foot ceilings, outside patio bar and grill, Tom Goodchild's Moose Factory will have a place for you any day of the week. Come to experience the ambiance and enjoy the entertainment.

    Unfortunately my experience today was very disappointing. The items offered and presented on the buffet brought back memories of hospital cafeteria food which would be appealing if you hadn't eaten for some time but not what I had previously experienced at the Sawmill and Moose Factory. I can't say I enjoyed the stale and dried out dinner roles, the cold eggs Benedict, the turkey roll with no stuffing or gravy. The fresh fruit with chocolate fountain and a limited variety of desserts was a pleasant ending to what I would describe as an otherwise unappealing and unappetizing meal. The service by Tenisha was outstanding.

    Excellent food. AAA Roast Beef was tender and perfectly cooked. Baked Atlantic Salmon was melt-in-your mouth delicious! Ambience and noise level was very relaxing and perfect for our family gathering. It allowed for easy conversation without having to raise our voices. Love this place!

    Food was good and atmosphere was nice, however we had a lacklustre server who seemed nervous and fave us the bare minimum for this type of restaurant. brought out wrong drink twice (an astute server would have noticed the error prior to even bringing it to the table), she mixed up two meals and the real insult was her lack of attention to detail after we ordered a special birthday dessert for my boyfriend’s moms 85th bday…no candle etc…despite another cake being sent to another table with a sparkler….attention to details matter in the service industry.

    All three of our steaks were under cooked. Bloody plates. We were seated in the corner right up to a TV! Place was very loud. Understandable as it is Christmas Eve but still, I can’t even hear my kids talk that were right beside me. Not great value for what we paid . Sorry:

    My husband and I always go to the Stony plain, Alberta location. We’ve always had such great food and great service. However this was not the case at this location. We had booked our reservation a week in advance. When we got there we got stopped in the middle of the restaurant to wait because our table was given away to someone else. Which whatever we can forgive. Shortly after we got seated, we had no menus so I had to ask the hostess for one. My husband ordered the Kobe burger, and I ordered the filet minon. I asked for my steak to be medium. Upon arrival my steak was pretty rare inside and definitely not the best quality of steak as my steak knife couldn’t even cut through it. So my server took it back. By the time I got my steak back, my husband had already finished his meal. When I got the steak back, it was BURNT on top and well done inside. As a server I would have not even have brought it back to my table. I was so upset and hungry that I asked the server to just bring me my bill so I can go somewhere else to get a decent meal. Unapologetic she took the plate away like I Inconvenience her. The manager came to my table a few minutes later and I asked if he would be ok to eat a burnt piece of steak for $43. He said he couldn’t answer the question which is an obvious No. I said I just wanted my bill, and he said no problem and took my plate away without even an apology. Save your money and stay away from this place and their garbage food. I would never return to this restaurant.

    It was the first time since most of the Sawmills have closed in Edmonton that we attended a breakfast brunch. We used to go quite often pre-Covid. The offerings while a little less in the number of dishes, were fresh, tasty and well prepared. Service was great. Coffee was kept hot and other drinks filled. Table service was good and quick. A lovely Christmas Eve brunch. Will return for the regular Sunday Brunch in the New Year.
