Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

We had a fantastic meal at Scala last night. Started with some very tasty oysters, then a Caesar salad and then the veal dish with mushrooms which was amazing. I need to say it was the best dinner I have had in a long time and I eat out a lot.

Delightful lunch, glad we went a little later (1:30pm) reservation. It was juts perfect!

Everything so good! Been there multiple times. Love the Ravioli with lemon cream sauce, their pork chop milanese is to die for (really big), and their filet of petrale sole melts in your mouth! The oysters and shrimp are so fresh! For dessert try the Zeppole! So good!

Noisy at times. My fish entree was not good. Flat as a pancake and overcooked. Mgr defended the entree. Not good customer service.

Had an early dinner. Wasn’t busy service was fine waited for server to return a few times. Not as good as last visit. Feels a bit over priced but it’s in the main part of downtown so it’s what’s to be expected. Might go elsewhere next time.

Best restaurant we went to in Napa!! Every dish was the best and our waiter was lovely.

Our first visit was on a busy weekend night but service and comfort never suffered. We all sampled and recommend the Caesar salad, mushroom/sausage pizza, lobster fettuccine, and warm fruit cobbler. There was a lot more on the menu we vowed to try the next time we visit..and there will be a next time.

Had a wonderful meal here with my niece for her birthday. Staff was so kind and made her feel special- she got a birthday card from them, we got a lovely seat, the service was impeccable and truly an experience for her. I love this restaurant. Thank you so much for everything- the lovely dishes drinks and desserts! Will continue to come back again and again! Cheers!

We have been to Scala a number of times. Wanted to share the restaurant with friends from Marin. The food was absolutely fabulous and we were able to get a nice table on the main level. It is a great restaurant for all day dining. Our fiends loved it. Very festive.

The service was outstanding . The waitress and the bus stop kept our water glasses full and Check just enough to make sure that we were just fine with our meal . We were not rushed in eating our meal. We were there for over two hours . The food came out hot and was delicious .
