Founded in 2007, Secret Kitchen brings to the city of Melbourne chinese dining experience the like of which you

Combining traditional flavours with innovative techniques, an extensive variety of menu items and an incomparable atmosphere, Secret Kitchen offers its guests an inimitable feasting experience. We are awarded one of the top Yum Cha restaurant on Time Out Melbourne and rated 4 stars out of 5 by The Age Good Food Guide.                                                                                                                                                             Secret Kitchen continually delivers outstanding yum cha with the service to match. You get walked to your table, get immediately asked if you would like any tea (this is a good chance to ask for some soy sauce and/or fresh chili) and the carts promptly come by. This was not my first time at Secret Kitchen, and definitely will not be my last - their food is too good to deny!

The first restaurant that I have been in where the menu doesn't include GST. A bit of a scam. Probably won't go back.

                                                                                                                                                            First time, and we were impressed. Settled in for a yum cha lunch and weren't disappointed. The staff were hospitable, and clearly enjoy working there. The carts (yay, they are back!), were laden with fresh, steaming dim sim, we weren't hurried and enjoyed easing our way through the temptations. If there's something you want that's not being offered on the carts, just order it from one of the abundant waiting staff. We'll be back

                                                                                                                                                            Waited over 20 mins after being seated before I flagged down a host to ask for water and service. Our server said he would add an extra dumpling no charge, only to be completely dismissed at check out. I’m glad the food was really good in the end. Though, first impressions count more.

                                                                                                                                                            We had an exceptional dinner and was so pleased we took overseas guests here . The food and service were outstanding and we cannot recommend this highly enough. It is not cheap but the value for such a special meal was there and we look for to coming back again and again . Spectate Peking duck and dumplings were amazing but so was all the food .
