Located in the heart of the emerging East Cobb neighborhood dining scene, Seed Kitchen & Bar combines a modern playful approach to American cuisine in an atmosphere as casual as it is stylish. The seasonal menu reflects the ingredients and hard work of local farmers and artisans whenever possible, in combination with an uncompromising pursuit of quality, all beautifully presented. Chef & Owner Doug Turbush has transplanted his many years of big city cooking, worldwide travels, culinary accolades and guest focused service to his own neighborhood of East Cobb, where he and his family have lived for the past 15 years.

The only complaint we had were my mom wanted her egg fried extra well done. The first time they brought it out, it was still a little runny so we sent it back. When the next one came out is was very runny. The server told us she informed they were fried as hard as they could get them. Everything else was good.

It’s been a few years since we’ve been to Seed. Just went for a family birthday celebration and was very pleased with the meal. We chose to go for a late lunch and the menu was reasonably priced with a variety of choices. Will definitely return!

The food here is always delicious and the service is always wonderful! The fixed Valentines menu was brilliantly done. Everything was flawless, as always. Huge thanks to Fiona, again!

We are regulars at Seed and this was our second VD experience. We were a little disappointed that we were given a table by the door. It was not cozy or warm since we felt the cold air every time the doors opened. Jonathan was our server who was attentive and delightful. The Amuse Bouche was delicious as were the appetizers. My filet was undercooked and had to be returned and my husband’s duck was just okay. It wasn’t crispy and lacked flavor. The entrees could have been larger to reflect the price. The desserts were good however again not up to the overall value of the meal. We of course will be back as we enjoy patronizing Seed.

Great food, excellent service. Noisy atmosphere and it appears that diners are getting more casual over time. Highly recommend.

We love SEED and dine here often. Lunch was great on Friday, the 7th: food service and attention of our server was excellent. I forget her name but she is the Best!! We have had her in the evening as well. Took a friend to dinner on Saturday evening, extremely loud, server that evening was not as tuned in as they usually are, long wait for dinner but the food was good . We have experienced long waits for dinner on weekends lately.

Man! You guys missed the mark today on everything but the food. Hostess greet, server's first touch (14 minutes waited), bathroom was a mess... As a former restaurant manager of a similar caliber restaurant... Disappointed.
