Selesa Restaurant mainly serves traditional authentic Malaysian cuisine along with Chinese cuisine and Vegetarian options. With such a diverse, multi-ethnic population in Malaysia, it is not a surprise that the Malaysian cuisine has numerous influences and flavours. Selesa restaurant offers a creative menu based on the classical concept of ‘Home-made’ of Malaysian culinary practices. The menu at Selesa is extensive, meaning that regardless of your preferences you will not leave here disappointed. Whether you want something mild to play it safe, or something hot and flavoursome, there will be something for you. Situated in the Park City Hotel Kensington, the atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the friendly members of staff aim to make you feel comfortable from the moment you visit to the moment you leave.

Proud of Malaysian hospitality, Selesa also offers a tailor-made event catering service for both social and corporate events, from canapés to a hot buffet or banquet service with floral arrangements, karaoke and other entertainment can also be provided. The restaurant may seat up to 120 indoors & 40 al fresco on their Kensington Pavilion and suitable for romantic eat out, family, groups parties and weddings. All this can be enjoyed in an informal yet contemporary setting which is 6 minutes away from Earl Court’s station and few steps away from V&A museums, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park.

It was unfortunate that we were the only guests in the restaurant, which was underground and lacked any ambiance. Having said that, the food was simple but very tasty, good portion size. The service was good, probably because we were the centre of attention.

Nasi Lemak dish so terrible, presentation are good. But the rice is too dry. I can see the dry rice grains not holding together. Normally rice once is cooked are soft and moist. Very disappointed It’s look like been re-heat in the oven. We were lunch at noon time around 12:30 pm. Very dissatisfied ! It’s my first also a last to visit. Won’t go there again.

The restaurant was closing when we reached at the appointment timing (9.15pm). We were told that they had nt received the reservation. Nevertheless they allowed us to dine in, the restaurant staff was kind & helpful. Food portion was kind of too big, but taste delicious.

Good choice of starters - recommend both the duck and the squid. There was good variety in the main courses - our particular choice of chicken was a little bland. Service was friendly and helpful - staff made good recommendations. If you are staying in the hotel the restaurant is a quite, casual, easy going place which makes you feel welcome.

Typical hotel restaurant without ambience. When it comes to service it is quite poor, staff is not very friendly. Had better meal definitely, Tom Yum soup was lacking of ingredients almost no sea food inside just some vegetables.

overall bad bad experience, food was terrible (cold, not cooked enough, very long waiting time, half the dishes not available). would not recommend at all.

A very relaxed and comfortable restaurant. Seating in three different rooms.....take your pick. Service was very good and with smiles and helpful in choosing the dishes. Overall my family scored very high. Will go again soon with friends.
