   We loved our dining experience! The food was fabulous. We started with the STRACCIATELLA and beats along with the mixed lettuce salad and the focaccia! Amazing. The focaccia was light. Sort of like a pop over. Excellent. Followed by spaghetti with winter greens and veal Milanese. All of which did not disappoint. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of our meal. It was perfect. As well as our server been so kind and helpful with our meal and drink selections. We will be back.

   The food and drinks were exceptional. The Bronzino was cooked to perfection. The rigatoni were absolutely delicious. We will be back!

   I picked this restaurant because it seemed perfect for dinner before our show at The Beacon. We mentioned our show multiple times and there were others in the restaurant going to the same show. We didn’t get our food until after we had to leave for the show. I don’t like being rushed and did not enjoy my meal. I won’t be back.

   Very disappointing. 7:30 reservation for 6 people before a 10pm show. We let them know we had a 10pm show and needed to leave by 9:40pm. We weren’t seated until 8:15 and had to rush through dinner to make sure we would be able to leave on time. Food was great but wouldn’t go back here if you have a timing commitment afterwards.

   This was the worst film I’ve ever had in New York City. I don’t understand what was going on. The server seems somewhat nice, but I couldn’t quite understand her but the food was absolutely awful. The pasta was not al dente. It was three steps below that and almost crunchy it was literally horrible. They had to replace the pasta First. They served us meal without any pasta. They forgot to even put the pasta in it. I mean, this was a train wreck.

   We arrived on time for our reservation and waited 30 minutes to be seated. We were told to wait at the bar - I don’t thing I would have been seated if I didn’t remind the hostess that I was waiting. We were told to purchase drinks - if I wanted to drink at the bar I would have come early. While the food was very good, they were not respectful of my reservation. There is a 15 minute window for customers and while I generally don’t mind waiting - the lack of concern really discourages me from giving a positive rating.

   The place was buzzing at 6:30 last night. Well dressed locals at pretty much every table. The ambience was stunning - from the bar to the back room, it looked great. The waiters were engaging: complimenting the guests, enthusiastically recommending their favorite dishes, and checking back on our impressions. Several caveats, though. The kitchen was smokey and invaded our table in the back. And the place was so packed, we waited 20 minutes for our table at 6:30, and didn’t finish with our dinner until 9:30. We were curious to check out the deserts after the excellent food, but were not willing to wait for it to be served.

   Excellent meal. Great atmosphere. Attentive staff. One of the few restaurants in NYC that really try hard to ensure their customers are having a good time.
