Thursdays from 8PM - 11PM Sempre Oggi welcomes David Kastin, who has been a DJ in New York for over 30 years, for a curated set from his personal record collection. I bought my first record in 1975. It was Aerosmith’s debut album. Ever since then I have had a love affair with vinyl. It all started with early 70’s rock, then into the late 70’s I was collecting disco ala Studio 54. Next was punk/post punk new wave and my collection grew significantly. In the late 80’s I discovered an old school NYC dance party DJed by none other than David Mancuso called The Loft and it changed my life. The Loft exposed me to so much music, one could hear almost anything from disco to funk, soul, house and rock and post punk it was so eclectic and inspiring

The food was excellent. Everyone at my table ordered pasta dishes, and they were all outstanding. The Fritto Misto and desserts we ordered, were so delicious. Our server and service in general, was great. Beautifully designed space. This type of restaurant is greatly needed on the upper west side, where am my opinion, many of the restaurants are just mediocre.

We love the fresh pasta offerings from Sempre Oggi and last night did not disappoint. I had a delicious dish with duck ragu, our friend had spaghetti with shrimp and loved it. My husband always orders the veal Milanese and raves about it. We started the meal with their delicious fresh faccachia. Servious was excellent

The food and ambiance are both exceptional. The restaurant's energy radiates cozy chic with notes of warmth and winsome furnishings, notably the upholstered chairs that neither bother the lower back nor hinder the hindquarters, ya feel? The food is a master stroke in Italian fare, with distinctive craft cocktails to match. The signature Oggi gin martini pairs Portofino gin with – not vermouth – but a small-batch bay leaf digestif from the Amalfi coast that evokes the holiest of cows from both the religiously reluctant and lactose ill-inclined lol. The food was yum yum in my tum tum and me most likey the flamey beets and noodles with quack quack. The little gem caesar salad was both a gem and the Caesar to my Roman empire okayyyyy?! P.S. Lexi was our server and she nailed not only the recommendations, but also the way she divided the courses for us. Mamá slayed the house down sneaks with her complete mastery of long division. Work!

The restaurant is really spacious and has great ambiance. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. It was a b'day celebration and they comped our wine. Great addition to the UWS!! Can't wait to go back.

The brunch experience was not at all like the dinner service. After we were seated they took so long to come back to the table and take our order we had to flag the waiter down. Then it was another hour before the food arrived, and they made one guest wait almost another 10 mins to get his entree. Another entree was very undercooked. We were comped the undercooked entree but nothing else. The experience is not worth the money.
