    At Seneca, we do something special for groups of 9-14 guests, as we invite large parties to gather together and feast. "Convivium" is a fixed three-course, family-style meal priced per guest. There is an entry level option as well as a supplemented option with more food. You won't have to make any decisions, as we'll take care of everything, cooking up some of our favorite dishes from every section of the menu. However, because this is family style, all diners must choose the same option upon booking. Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours in advance of your reservation, any cancellations within the 48 hours are not eligible for refunds. Tax, 20% Gratuity, and 4% service fee applied at checkout.

                                                                                I had a non alcoholic apricot drink, delicious! We shared a few small plates. The wood fired prawns are the best thing on the menu. The truffle arancini and meatballs were also very good. Beautiful restaurant, service is always perfect. My favorite place to eat in San Diego.

                                                                                We booked here for my 22nd birthday. Our server was OUTSTANDING. I really wish I got her name but she was so great. She was only about a month new to the job but she was very knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. I asked her to surprise me with a drink and it was so delicious. I would give this place 5 stars, however our reservation was at 7:45 and we did not get seated until 8:25. Other than that this place was great.

                                                                                Service is friendly, fast, and very thorough. Used plates, glasses, and flatware are quickly removed and replaced. The beverage and wine service are well done. The food was very good. It is a bit on the high side for what it is, but not outrageously so. And the quality of the service lives up to the restaurant's price point. My wife and I dined at Seneca on our wedding anniversary. The staff made note of that, and each person who served us wished us a happy anniversary, and the restaurant gave us champagne gratis. We would recommend Seneca to any interested diners.
