   A delightful final evening with the Sensei Bar crew. We've been coming since 2021 and it's so sad to see it closing. We anxiously await what you'll be doing with the space. In the interim, we'll be sure to come to Olea to see you again.

   I’ve wanted to try Sensei Bar for since they opened but never had the opportunity to until now. I am sad that this portion of the restaurant is closing soon but have made reservations at the sister restaurant Olea. The drinks, food , service was amazing!

   First time coming there. We went because of the good reviews. The food was great but the service sucks. No smiles and no conversations.

   We enjoyed everything we ordered including food, cocktails, and loved the flight of sake. The service was fantastic. Thanks to the team for a great evening. Highly recommend checking out Sensei Bar :) we’ll definitely go back.

   We have visited the restaurant three times now. During our first visit, we had a delightful experience. However, each subsequent visit has been disappointing. I must commend our server, who was lovely and attentive. The service has always been excellent, and I have no complaints in that regard. Unfortunately, it's the food that has not met our expectations. During our most recent visit, we had the oysters, which were served with lime. The oysters tasted off—not necessarily spoiled, but overly fishy—and the lime did not complement them well. The pork belly was tough and overcooked, and the Brussels sprouts were so overdone that they turned brown throughout and tasted like burnt cardboard. The taste lingered unpleasantly for the rest of the night. We've tried other items on the menu in the past, but have not been satisfied with any of them. On a positive note, the atmosphere is great, and the drinks are decent. However, I did encounter an issue with a draft coming from the window where I was seated. My feet were uncomfortably cold by the end of the meal, so addressing this draft would greatly improve the dining experience.

   As always, an amazing food experience! We had people in our family party from 13 to 86 years old and everyone loved our supper. Everyone was attentive and accommodating with easy access for my Mum who used a walker to get in to the restaurant. We will be back again 😊

   Three couples got together for an early dinner, all attending for the first time at Sensei. It was a great experience. We ate through the Golden Hour menu enjoying every item. The food is very tasty and nicely spiced. The service was excellent. We received a tutorial on saki and enjoyed a bottle. Overall, a great time had by all.

    We got here for our anniversary. We were directed to hang our coat. The entire area was dark and dingy and when we asked for a new seating area, we were told that the area was cold as the heater wasn’t working there. We opted to seat there still to get a quiet location for our date. I proceeded to ask the hostess/ waitress why the environment was different from pictures and she responded rudely that ‘she was not the photographer’! Then I responded that instead of being sarcastic, she should look for a better area because we were already smelling like the food that was being prepared. We left a minute after in order not to ruin our night!
