SER is the winner of the Ballston Business Improvement District's 2014 Restaurant Challenge. It is an authentic Spanish tavern or “food house” with a casual, hipster vibe. But, take note…it’s not a tapas restaurant. It’s a gastronomical journey and cultural adventure throughout every region of Spain. It’s an easy-going gathering spot where guests can enjoy typical comfort foods and beverages from Spain at any time of the day or night. The team at SER are your foodie friends from Spain who have a mean kitchen, sharp cooking skills, and comfortable house where you hang out until the wee hours of the night.

SER Restaurant is a highly acclaimed establishment recognized for its exceptional dining experience. It has been featured in the Washingtonian's Best 100 Restaurants list in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2023. Additionally, it has consistently ranked among the Top 50 Best Restaurants in Northern Virginia from 2020 to 2024 and is celebrated as one of the top restaurants in Arlington.

We have underground parking directly below our building at 1110 N Glebe Road. Entrance is on Glebe Road, not 11th Street. Parking is $4 with validation up to 3 hours in duration. Do not park in the City Bank or Sola Salon parking spaces across the street, you will get TOWED.

We're located on Glebe Road and 11th Street, right off Route 66 and are blocks away from the Ballston Metro station

We had lunch at SER today and I was pretty impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. Everything was perfect. We loved the rockfish and the ternera. This latter one, very authentic like in Asturias. And service was also very nice, our server always had a smile on her face. This became our favorite place in Arlington.

We had the Dover sole, filleted table side, burger, and short ribs. Everything was excellently prepared as always. The fish here is always delicious. Our favorite Arlington restaurant.

We love SER and have been many times. We were a large party of 11 that evening and sort of felt like we were being rushed out. We were going to order more food but the waiter was very quick to get us the bill. We actually ended up opening another bill and ordering two more bottles of wine. We were still hungry but decided to go home. We will be back as every other experience has been amazing.

Always a great experience. The drinks were spectacular and the food was delicious. The people taking care of us were so friendly and gave great service. Will be back soon!

The food was amazing. From the appetizers to the mains, the flavors were great. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. I would definitely go back.
