Serafina opened its doors in 1991 as an intimate neighborhood restaurant located along Eastlake between the University and Downtown. Its intimate, sultry atmosphere, outdoor garden seating and its authentic Italian cuisine make it a favorite with diners from around the Puget Sound and beyond. Serafina's philosophy is simple: Offer the freshest, highest quality ingredients, present the food in an honest and inviting way, and provide the casual warmth and soothing ambiance that echoes the welcoming embrace of an Italian home.
The ritual of coming together sharing wine and food with family and friends is the central motif in our lives. Italian food has an immediacy, honesty, and warmth; it possesses the spirit of a grandmother's wisdom and love. Italian food isn't about trailblazing alchemy or edible high fashion; Italian food is about staying connected—to each other, to the past, to the earth.

Chef Christian and Chef Allan have put together a tasting menu with some Tuscan classics to pair with La Spinetta’s beautiful wines! Todd, from Elliott Bay & Danielle, our wine Director, will be pouring wines at the table and explaining the love and care that goes into each glass. We are excited to spend the evening with you and bring a taste of Tuscany to Eastlake. Space is limited and reservations are required. $150/pp + tax and gratuity

                                                  One of my favorite dining spots! Food is always good, atmosphere perfect! Note-Parking is a bit difficult right now due to construction in the streets around restaurant. Worth walking a few blocks to dine however!

                                                  As always Serafina delivers in more ways than one. Went with friends for Seattle Restaurant Week. The menu was perfect for all types of diners and the food superb. We’ve been coming to Serafina for over 20 years for all kinds of celebrations and events. We’ll definitely be returning.

                                                  Always a fantastic experience at Serafina. Loved the plating on the asparagus and the pork spare rib flavors and the cheesecake for SRW.

                                                  Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Service is excellent. Exquisite attention to detail. The food is always exceeding my high expectations.  Serafina is, at this point, a Seattle institution. It remains classic and still fresh. A wonderful choice for any occasion.

                                                  Lovely restaurant. Food wasn’t quite as tasty as past visits. Biggest issue we had was the pasta course was served with the main course. Our table didn’t even have enough room for the plates. An Italian restaurant should serve four courses, antipasta, pasta, mains, dessert.
