When Ross Magnaye and Shane Stafford started Serai, their vision was to create a restaurant that would fit perfectly in the heart of the Philippines. To replicate the spirit, vitality, passion and sense of fun, they knew Serai would become a home from home for our diners.
At our restaurant, right in the heart of Melbourne, you can watch the chefs prepare and fresh food daily in our open kitchen at the chef’s omakase table or relax in the restaurant and bar with a glass of our hand picked, vin naturel selections or signature cocktails.
For Chefs Table bookings, you will be required to dine from our $105pp Chef's Feed Me option.
The Chefs Table is a fully immersive experience served by the chefs which is 7-8 dishes.

Join us for the release of Sonnen's 2024 Vintage. This special lunch will include 5 courses with matching wines.
Sonnen is the brainchild of Luke Andree, a talented Tasmanian viticulturist also renowned for his work at Pressing Matters. His winemaking started in Victoria with Boomtown Cooperative, with stints at Oakridge, Mac Forbes, and even studying Riesling in Germany at Weingut Melsheimer. Luke started his own wine label in 2020 called Sonnen, a tribute to his German heritage, which means to bask in the sun. Luke's wines reflect his deep connection to Tasmania's vineyards, blending his detailed winemaking techniques with everything he's learned along the way.
