Serena Rooftop is an open-air terrace restaurant and bar located on the second floor of the Moxy South Beach Hotel. Modeled after Oaxaca’s iconic rooftops, Serena serves cocktails and contemporary Mexican cuisine for brunch, lunch and dinner. A domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea shelters the all-outdoor dining area. Serena Rooftop is a beautiful outdoor restaurant complete with a domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea in addition to an electric roof, to be enjoyed all year round.

PARKING: We offer $5 valet parking if you have a Florida license or use code SERENA24 for a first ride FREE with Alto (up to $60 value).

Serena Rooftop is the ideal space for any event (corporate event, holiday party, etc.) Email charity.chacon@moxysouthbeach.com for more information.

Please note we serve a limited menu daily from 3:30PM to 6PM as well as Happy Hour from 3PM-6PM.

    We went specifically for unlimited tacos & $5 margaritas. Was so good! DJ was playing live. Fun vibe. Raj took care of our group & we had an awesome ladies night for our group of friends.

    Located inside the Moxy Hotel next to the pool, such a cute patio it's a shame that everything else is a miss. Went for Sunday brunch, the hotel advertised bottomless mimosas and entertainment. The bottomless Mimosa's were at the lobby bar, which makes no sense and were not available at the restaurant or the pool. Food was meh, caesar dressing was so spicy barely even edible and we ordered steak with the salad, steak came out white, didn't appear to be steak at all and was discusting. You would think the server would ask how are food was, not even once. When he saw we barley touched out food you would think a server would ask, nope. Gratuity is included so he did not care. I ordered chips and salsa, the salsa was so small, barely enough for a few chips, so I asked for guacamole. Server charged for for another basket of chips in addition to the guacamole even though we had plenty of chips and didn't even touch the second basket. Absolutely no vibe at this place. The entertaiment was a DJ doing a liv and buried in her phone. Terrible experience, I would never go here again.

    Super fun atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend. We always hit Serena’s up when we’re in town.
