Traditional Italian restaurant at the heart of Fitzrovia, Sergio’s is a favourite with any regular visitor to the West End as well as attracting tourists with the combination of an excellent Italian menu and warm welcome. Occupying and enviable corner spot on Great Titchfield Street, the restaurant is easily spotted thanks to a large red awning under which diners enjoy al fresco eating whatever the weather. Inside the feel is rustic and relaxed with a burgundy and white colour scheme accompanied by hundreds of photos of the staff with the many celebrity clients it attracts. Popular Italian dishes from pizza and pasta to meat, seafood and vegetarian/vegan options can be found on an expansive menu.

Great atmosphere, but I requested Table 18 which was given to another couple even when we had arrived, so it wasn't reserved for me. Great service. I chose beer, because a 175ml glass of wine at £13 is beyond my budget. The lasagne was delicious, but was spelt incorrectly on the menu as lasagna. The side (mixed or green) salad was OK, the waitress seemed reluctant to explain, and thought "green" was an adequate description of the ingredients. The flat white coffee was poor, too weak and no flavour, don't bother unless you like Costa, Starbucks etc.

We had a table of 7 and from the start we were warmly welcomed and seated straight away! The service was impeccable with special thanks to Dorota and Hamza for food and drinks service! The food was fantastic but again the evening wouldn’t have been as good without Dorota and Hamza!

This is our 5th visit to Sergios and it didn’t disappoint. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday and found balloons had been put on the table for us. They also bought profiteroles with a candle and sang happy birthday, very lovely, my daughter was delighted. Dottie recognised us straight away and even remembered where we sat last time, she is remarkable and made our evening more special. The team did everything to ensure our special birthday meal was one to remember. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. Always a fantastic evening at Sergios
