    Everything at the Eataly franchises is delicious, fresh, and very overpriced. Serra’s staff is lovely. The prix fixe menu IS a bargain. Probably the best bargain in the whole building. Worth a try.

    My expectations of Eataly are very high given the excellent quality of the product and service in the store. One dish was mediocre at best, the other very good. The wine was excellent, the focaccia average. The ambiance was great, the service was acceptable.

    Everything was great except when we paid and extra $15 per person for the shaved black winter truffle and they used a microplane to zest the truffle. You couldn’t taste the truffle at all. We advised the manager about this and they stated that the Urbani truffle wasn’t tasteful today.. if that’s the case then don’t offer it

    Service was extremely slow had to repeatedly ask for items and one guest had to take their entree to go as it took and hour and a half to come out.

    I thought place was cute and service was good but it was expensive for the quality of the food to be honest. I also expected a bit more for a birthday. A lot of places will add a shot, dessert, drink, etc. The dessert I ordered the strawberries were sad and I asked for a few more and kitchen was closed. The biggest issue was it was cold in the place and supposed to be the opposite like a ski lodge.

    We had a poor experience - server forgot an entree, brought an entree out with appetizers, didn’t accommodate dietary restrictions. We ended up getting out meal comped because the manager learned of what happened.
