The servers are very nice. Polenta was a little bit salty but the flavor was still savory/tasty.

The ambience of the room was the best part of the experience, along with the cocktails served. I was unaware of this rooftop restaurant space that Eataly offered so thought we would take advantage of New Years Eve dinner there. However I have always held the food served in Eataly in very high regard and this rooftop restaurant outpost just did not meet those expectations which was quite disappointing. The service was again a bit lacking on the evening of our meal. I will not be eating at this restaurant again and will plan to just stick with the main Eataly food bars, stalls, and sit down spaces.

Lovely atmosphere, service was good but not outstanding. Bread on burgers was a bit dry, suggest go Italian instead.

This establishment is not family friendly at all :( I booked it based and on a few mom and family travel blogs. There were several families with children dining, but our waiter was beyond rude when when we asked for a simple pasta instead of an elaborate dish even though we were willing to pay the same. And there was an obvious mix up with the kids drinks. Someone in the back understood our ask, and the bartender was understanding but our waiter was not. The decor was nice and food was good but I would not encourage families to come here.

The service was excellent, our server was great. The food was not great. The truffle pasta was super oily and the salads were not that great. The steak was pretty good.

We just stopped in for a drink and appetizers - (party of 4) although we made a reservation, we ended up in the bar area…my family was in from Kentucky and Eataly is one of those places you need to show someone who grew up in NY - accommodating as usual and we had a great time
