Welcome to Seven Hills. We are a rustic neighborhood bistro offering regional Italian food, located in the Russian Hill Neighborhood of San Francisco. We serve great fresh affordable food. Our emphasis is on homemade pastas. Our wine list is small but extremely well thought out and complements our cooking style. We look forward to taking care of you and your guests. Parking details
Parking is very difficult and can becoming time consuming. There is not a practical parking garage within walking distance. We highly recommend getting a taxi to us as finding parking can get really frustrating

The hostess was adorable. Our server lady was fantastic. The food came out not too quick. The ambiance was ok. We read online it was a romantic atmosphere and I don’t think I would describe the restaurant as such. Our food was a little bland. We ordered the Parmesan focaccia and it was great. The panna cotta was superb. The prosciutto salad lacked something. My husband ordered the steak and it was good but such a small portion. I ordered the sea bass and that was quite bland but the portion was right. We thought the food was very over-priced. In all fairness, we did not order any pasta - which is probably what they are known for….but the prices were still way too high. I guess all prices have gone up in SF but pasta dishes without meat going for $28/plate therefore $30 with tax? That doesn’t seem quite right….

Food was excellent and service was also great. Our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. Our first time, but can’t wait to go back to try other things on the menu.

The crab chicory salad was so fresh liked they just pucked the ingredients. The veal osso bucco was so tender it was like it melted in ur mouth. Excellent quality as usual , we sat outside x’mas eve nite and it was like private dining though the inside was fully booked. Our fav restaurant in SF

What a great restaurant! The food is truly excellent, a perfect balance between old school and new Italian, fresh and inventive. The service is friendly yet very professional and the ambiance is charming. Highly recommend.

Our waiter William was the absolute best. They took their time and staged our meals out (per their recommendation) and every bite was stellar.
