Shaku Maku is a new Middle Eastern diner serving traditional dishes cooked according to age-honoured recipes and techniques.

This is Middle Eastern soul food, with a focus on a warm, fun & inviting dining space to enjoy the best fresh ingredients from our locally sourced suppliers.

What is Shaku Maku?​Roughly translated, it means: ‘What’s the story?
’Shaku Maku is a riddle, a playful paradox, and an invitation to share.

    We had two servers at table 16 on Friday Dec 27 at 6:30pm. Both were particularly helpful and very friendly. The food was delicious. My thanks to everyone at Shaku Maku

    Excellent food and value, but service was a bit slow on a busy night. Also had pints on the menu but then were not actually able to serve them in the restaurant.

    Delicious food. Very fresh and abundant portions. The baba ganoush and the hummus are to die for! Staff is very kind and flexible with requests to swap some options from the menu. I’ve already visited a few times and I’ll surely be back!

    The service in shaku maku is always outstanding. Aziz our waiter was and is always super friendly and nice. The food is a bit pricy but it’s one the best restaurants to offer middle eastern food in dublin. Worth trying: Kebbeh b Laban, anything from the grill, lamb and cheese mankoosheh, and the rice pudding.

    Came here for a Christmas dinner with my team and we absolutely loved the food but our waitress shushed us and was generally quite cold and standoffish with us. I would still come back, we just decided not to tip higher than the standard service charge and would usually tip very generously.
