Shell Shack is a well-known seafood restaurant and bar in Plano, Texas. Established in 2015, this restaurant has a casual and inviting ambiance. The food was subpar and overcooked and not worth the price. Abbey, our server, was amazing though!

I’d say it was great as the real value of a restaurant lies in the quality of food being served. The service was poor and the ambience was pretty standard. I’d definitely go back of the food or order take out based off of the service quality. Their cocktails were also pretty decent. If I’d ordered takeout, I would have rated them 5 stars. This is especially as the crawfish seasoning hit the spot and nothing on their MVP plate was a miss. That corn was divine and the alligator and taco sides were pretty good. I did think the taco tortillas were too thin though but in all, their food is definitely a 5/5.

We were sat immediately upon arriving. Our server was amazing! He was attentive and answered our questions. It was delicious!

The seafood boil seasoning was extremely too salty. The taste was ok. Our server was attentive and helpful but the system went down by the end of our dinner and we had to wait around 20 to 30 minutes to pay our bill. Overall it was just an ok experience.

Food seasoning was very bland, and for the price, there are better value places around. Also, the birthday songs get to be a bit tiresome after a while.

I made a reservation for 3 pm on Mothers Day to find when I got there it wasn’t honored. The hostess made me and my kids wait 45-50. The hostess took my information and said she would call when they are ready to seat us us but we never received a call. Come to find out she wrote it down wrong. Watch several people get a table before us although they came after us. The seafood boil bag was a little skimpy with only 3 sliced sausages in it. The waitress was amazing and very attentive so she made up for all the foolery coming in.
