Shiro is an all-day Japanese restaurant and bar arriving at Liverpool Street’s Broadgate Circle.

Hugely popular in our home Hong Kong, Shiro cuisine is inspired by Japan’s foodie hot spots; Ginza, Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo – contemporary but true to the roots of Japanese cuisine, right to the heart of the City of London.

From our Crystal Sushi, invented by Shiro’s chefs, which adds extra layers of flavour to traditional sushi, delicious ramens made with Chef’s 50-year-old family recipe, and being one of few restaurants to serve edomae sushi – our menus are reflective of contemporary Japanese cuisine true to the traditional root.

At Shiro, we specialise in creating unforgettable experiences for all types of events. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large celebration, we have the perfect setting for you.

                                The food is amazing. The quality of the products are superb. Every single dish we ordered was amazing. Acoustics on the ground floor is not great. I would recommend booking on the 1st floor.

                                A little cramped at lunch time and our table for 2 was so small it was difficult to eat as we were sharing. Sake never came I think waiter didn’t bring it because of space but then we had to cancel the sake as was nearly time to leave business lunch. Actual food very good though so will def be back

                                Food was ok at the time. Nothing special and the wait staff had absolutely no idea about Sushi. Both my daughter and I have been up all night being sick so I wouldn’t suggest eating here!

                                We went to this place with high expectations. Most of the menu was not available when we arrived which was very disappointing. The food overall has nothing special, very avarage. Fish ramen tasted like was not fresh made and the main signature disses were not rich in flavour and missing even sault. At the end of the dinner were “invited to leave” due to table rotation, which was a shame as half of the restaurant was empty. We will not come back

                                The food was good and the service was excellent. Thank you to the kind manager who brought up a complimentary birthday dessert for my friend, which topped up the evening nicely. We had a wonderful dining experience, and would be happy to come back again.

                                It’s a pretty restaurant and sushi chefs greet you in the open kitchen. Loads of light wood and foliage. We were the first ones in for lunch before a play, and the host showed us to our table- in the exact middle of the restaurant, away from the window with the view and hard seats- when no one else was there. I asked if we could sit at a booth- and he rolled his eyes at us! A bit rude given the circumstances. The sushi was great, and the service was excellent. We left full of delicious sushi cuts. The value for money- not sure. But I’m sure the cuts of fish made it pricey (we did the chefs selection). I wouldn’t go back, but glad I went.
