The food we offer at Shuk is inspired by what we grew up with in Israel, where the cuisine available is one of the largest melting pots on the planet, with food coming from a variety of cultures that migrated to the country from 130 different countries in the past 50 years. The menu is directly influenced by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines.

    The food here is absolutely delicious with baked menu to suit all tastes. Staff were friendly and attentive. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Well definitely go here again when in Sydney.

    Friendly staff. Lucky to be able to book a table for 10 on Father’s Day. Problem was ordering for such a big group and being in the back garden. Had to go to front counter and inevitably we seemed to have been forgotten. Had to remind them of our order a couple of times but to be fair it was extremely busy. Food was yummy when it finally arrived. Think it is quite expensive ( especially with a mandatory 10% extra on Sundays) Would definitely go back though for a family gathering as there was something for everyone ( and even some toys for the kids in the back garden as well as pencils and paper- very thoughtful)

    Dear Shuk Bondi Beach 1 Mitchell, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience involving your booking system. I made a reservation and provided my credit card details, anticipating a seamless visit. However, when I, along with three friends—one of whom has mobility issues—arrived at your location, we were shocked to find it closed for renovations. It is completely unacceptable that your system accepted our booking and processed my credit card details under these circumstances. This situation caused significant inconvenience, especially considering the travel and walking difficulties faced by one of my friends. I strongly believe that your booking system should not accept reservations or payments when a location is unavailable. I urge you to review this issue and ensure that no other customers experience the same frustration and inconvenience in the future. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter. Sincerely, Richard Green

    We love Shuk. We have lived in bondi a long time and have been here many many times. I’ve always found the service average but the food amazing and honestly I tell everyone you have the best coffee in bondi. When we lived closer we would get coffee with you everyday for about 3 years, now we are further we make a point to come there as often as we can despite living closer to other cafes. Last time we were there, this past Saturday, I overheard all 3 people at the counter mocking me. The guy at the register and both baristas. One rolled their eyes at my order and the two guys commented their thoughts. I was stood right there, I don’t think they knew I heard them. It was rude and disappointing and poor service. On top of that, 2 meals, 3 coffees and kids eggs cost me $81. It’s a lot. Just thought you should know as it’s really been bothering me.

    We were immediately welcomed, someone came to order promptly, the food came quickly. The food was beautiful, healthy, hot & presentation was magnifique! Juices & coffee was also beautiful. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Shuk!

    How good was that? Osteria Riva comes to Shuk Bondi on a Thursday night. Outstanding degustation menu with enthusiastic staff and a wonderful atmosphere. A fabulous idea, and would love to see a repeat. In the meantime, can't wait to get up to Osteria Riva near Bondi Junction and keep on going to Shuk Bondi. Thanks to the teams from both establishments for a superb dining experience.
