Sidebar is a reservation-only hideaway for drinking and dining inspired by the early-1900s Texas oil boom. Our menu is a sample of what may be served as our offerings will constantly evolve.

Open Thursday-Saturday 6pm-1am with live entertainment nightly from 7-11pm. Sidebar table reservations are required for entry and separate from our sister restaurant Credence next door.

Not my best experience with a new place. The food is great (from Credence!). The service was great. ... but I just didn't like the overall experience. I won't be back.

I have been waiting to get a reservation to this speakeasy since it opened and I will admit it was very worth the wait! It is beautifully decorated, very romantic, and the live music is the cap to any date night!

First time visiting, fun experience but disappointed with the music. Started only at 730pm and then many of the songs were not jazz genre. Just random songs and at one point tried to have a sing along which did not go over well. The $25 cover and then $50 per person min charge was Alonso a bit much for the place. Might be why it was half full. Glad I tried it but don’t plan to come back.

The sidebar is a favorite spot. The bartenders make excellent drinks and the Side B Steak is phenomenal. It is a regular date night spot. It can get a bit loud with the live music but the bands are great.

Pretty cool looking speak easy. Very dark and hard to read menu. Many people had to bring their lights on phone to see menu, which takes away from ambiance. Alcohol beverage service was beyond slow. We were sat at 7pm and we were not waited on for almost 20 minutes. The place was only half full. We then waited an additional 15 minutes to get the first drinks. Our food came before our drinks. Food was excellent (limited menu) and the water service was very good. It seemed like they were overwhelmed, which doesn't make sense when it's reservation only. There are maybe 20 tables in there total. There is a $25 charge per person which is fine, but overall the entire experience was a let down, and not worth time or cost.

Hello, I paid 25 dollars to see a band from 7-930. However the band started around 745. If I was paying I would think it should start on time. Additionally the food came out with a burger we needed well done due to health restrictions. But both times it came out still not well done. If that wasn’t an option, would have liked to be just told that so we can order. Overall, was expecting better after the experiences from credence.
