   We visited at 5:30pm on a Sunday and we were told that the crab dish was unavailable. Many subsequent diners were also told that the crab dish was unavailable. Second visit, Sa poo mee tasted very different to my first visit. This time round, Sa poo mee had a different type of noodles akin to that of instant noodles and it was very salty. When I spoke to a member of staff about this, she thought it was Ang Kar Prawn Noodles; she then abruptly took the dish away from us without informing us of what was happening. She then returned a moment later with the same dish and said that it was Sa Poo Mee. We were quite confused.

   Overall, slightly underwhelming considering the buzz around this place. The quality of the ingredients were great but the food wasn't wow, everything was okay. Food delivered visually for those Instagram pictures.

   Excellent attention to detail - much more authentic than other places claiming to serve Singaporean food. Well worth a visit.

   No chilli crab on saturday lunch which was a bit of a surprise. They said only 4 crabs for the day and by 12:30 it was sold out.

   We visited Singapulah for a lunch with colleagues; staff were friendly and helpful upon setting foot into the restaurant. The decor was amazing and made me feel at home (I'm Singaporean). The tiffin set menu offered a good range of dishes and was great value. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great weekday lunch option in the area.

   Food is generally good. Waiters are a bit pushy in wanting you to order and leave quickly. Good decor.

   Second visit to try out other dishes did not live up to first visit, unfortunately. The loaded rojak salad - The mix of flavours and textures sounded interesting however, was a complete miss for me. Could not enjoy any of the ingredients individually or combined. Crispy skin fish cake - not distinctive enough to be a standalone side dish. Should remain as an ingredient to a main dish. Seafood sa po mee - complete miss again. apart from soya sauce, no other flavours. Very expensive for a badly executed noodle dish. Such a shame and waste of some nice ingredients. Coconut smoothie - 5/5 stars. Refreshing and creamy. May visit again to try out the rest of the menu.

    Not sure what the hype was all about with the massive queues. The food was so dissapointing overall. The entrees (crab bao and cuttlefish) were OK but nothing to scream about. Both main meals (nasi lemak and Wan Tan Mee) were so dissapointing. Should have known better by then to order dessert but no luck there either.. Kueh Salat was so dry and the ice kacang came without the cream corn. 🤦‍♀️
