Refined modern British cuisine meets unparalleled panoramic views of the Newcastle cityscape in BALTIC’s stylish quayside rooftop restaurant.

Menus are inspired by the very best seasonal, local artisan ingredients, whilst a carefully curated wine list draws from both new and old worlds.

The sleek, elegant dining room, complete with a chef’s table, offers an indulgent six course tasting experience. More casual small plates and sharing dishes are served in the opulent viewing box.

SIX’s stunning centrepiece bar serves innovative cocktails and both draught and bottled beers, with an emphasis on local breweries and distilleries.

                                        Fabulous evening - superb food and service. A little let down by the entrance and awful smell on entering on the ground floor however restaurant itself and staff were great.

                                        Christmas menu - main and sweet excellent, would have liked the choice of a warm starter. Rather cold in the restaurant which made it a bit uncomfortable.

                                        Opted for the 6-course Land & Sea taster menu - everything was beautifully presented with the 'snack' appetizers and the Dexter Beef fillet main the stand-out courses. Fantastic riverside location and excellent service made for a very special occasion and a memorable evening's dining.

                                        Lovely lunch. Fabulous staff and service. Beautiful food. It’s lovely to have sunshine but it was quite uncomfortably warm and blinding at times. I guess there’s not much you can do about that but if you are sitting in the middle of the room it does take away from the experience as you cannot change position.

                                        Really great, would have preferred a couple more meat options on the land and sea menu. Plant menu was amazing all the severing staff were lovely and explained the components of each course. Everyone was so friendly and I thought the little touches I saw on tables for birthdays and anniversary celebrations was such a nice touch too. Definitely would recommend and looking to try the Sunday dinner soon.

                                        There was a change in menu options on the date we visited and we were unable to order what we had seen on the website, however, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in guiding us through the new options.
