DINE ABOVE BANFF Anchored at over 2,200 meters above sea level, the Banff Gondola’s Sky Bistro sits on the summit of Sulphur Mountain. With six Rocky Mountain ranges as a backdrop, this remarkable restaurant promises an exhilarating gondola ride followed by a mountain top dining experience. Lunch and dinner menus celebrate the panorama of Canadian cuisine, with ingredients drawn from both ocean coasts, plus wholesome prairie staples including world-renowned Alberta beef. Complemented by local wine, beer and spirits, it makes for a unique dining experience above Banff.

    Extremely disappointed by the service provided by the manager. Tried to remedy the situation he did not help. Pretty disappointed after paying over $500 CAD for dinner plus $200 CAD for the gondola ride.

    We visited the Sky Bistro today for lunch and had an exceptional meal. We arrived slightly early but they still managed to seat us. The view was amazing as we were sat near the window. The service was extremely good mainlyl due to our waitress "Tash". We had the seafood chowder, ranchers pie and bangers & mash which were all amazing. We would highly recommend a visit.

    The ambience and the food were fabulous. However the prices for the restaurant were very high. That should be a consideration before booking the restaurant.

    The food options are… very limited. I felt this huge attitude in almost every one in staff (except for our hostess which was super nice) I expected so much more. Does not worth the bother to be honest. I’ll know better next time.

    First class service, scenery and food. If I could change anything it might have been to book for lunch instead of dinner, just to soak up the magnificent scenery.

    Loved every aspect of the evening. Stunning views, highly knowledgeable staff and great service. Wine selections and price were very well received. Meal was simply stunning. I would highly recommend.
