    Pre-theatre dinner is excellent value for money. Service was really attentive and the view is the best in London.

    Main course was cold, sent it back. Came back a bit warmer, but still not hot. Drinks menu was very expensive. Very disappointed overall.

    A lovely birthday brunch with friends. This is the second year running I have chosen Skylon - its location along with great food & service make it such a fab venue. I would highly recommend it. The saxophone player is amazing, a real bonus and adds to the overall ambience.

    Service is professional, but the restaurant was busy and the mains arrived after a long wait and my dish was cold, including the veg side and the sauce. I asked for a replacement sauce and the second was not much better. Cost of starter in particular (smoked salmon) was very high. Wine list is punchy too. You go there for the view, and the food would have been decent if it had been hot.

    We were given a nice table overlooking the Thames, thank you. I had the celeriac soup which didn't taste much of celeriac sadly. Daughter had the smoked salmon starter, which she said was very nice. The sourdough roll and butter ordered as an extra was £3.25 (soup didn't come with any bread), which although very nice, I thought that was a lot of mark up for a bread roll! My main was the haddock laid on mashed potato - potato just warm, the fish was beautifully cooked and had a lovely flavor so well done there - so I forgave the potato. 2 very nice glasses of English sparkling wine @£14.50 a glass - what! But I suppose that's London for you. Pre theater dinner - service could of been sharper, but the ambiance was nice.
